Hey there! I'm Marie, your friendly neighborhood finance fairy, here to sprinkle some fiscal pixie dust and help you reach your money goals. I've been money obsessed ever since my dad taught me the value of the dollar with plentiful chores and a tiny allowance. I loved the sweet sound of coins clinking into my piggy bank as my treasured savings steadily grew slower than the rate of inflation.

I focused my love of money at university, diving into accounting to unravel the mysteries of business operations. My career started off with auditing Japanese car companies, but I decided to level up with an MBA to become more well rounded. London called with a Sales Manager opportunity, where I honed my negotiation skills, crafted a sales funnel, and mastered the art of self-marketing, but something was still missing from my happiness recipe.

Enter my side hustle: working by night as a financial superhero for startups in London and NYC. I became a fractional CFO for four different startups (before fractional CFOs were even a thing), whipping up financial models, taming budgets and cash flows, and juggling everything from bookkeeping to payroll to fundraising. I even helped my clients raise a whopping $24 million in Seed and Series A funding! Who needs a cape when you have an excel spreadsheet?
